Scope of Experience

Rodney has more than 40 years of experience in the fields of land use, planning, development consulting, real estate and investments and became a licensed real estate agent in Delaware in 1998. He will work out of NAI Emory Hill’s Rehoboth Beach, Delaware office, which focuses on serving Kent and Sussex counties.

Background & Experience

Prior to joining NAI Emory Hill, Rodney was the Principle Director for several properties in Sussex County, Delaware including BAR 90, where he developed and implemented plans for commercial and residential real estate acquisition, renovation and management, and Powell Place Development, where he assembled and directed land planners, engineers, surveyors and soil scientists in pursuit of property development and sub-division endeavors. He is also the owner and manager of Smith Farms, where he initiated, led and performed active agricultural operations and environrmental conservation. In addition, Rodney has also been an active real estate investor since the mid-1980’s.
